Andy, based in Singer Island, Florida, specializes in Visual Basic, C#, and T-SQL programming; database and domain model design; the .NET Framework; and creation of effective user interfaces. Andy is a Contributing Editor for Advisor Media and for Pinnacle Publications, a writer for SQL Server Magazine, and co-author of several technical books. Since 1995, Andy has been selected each year as a Microsoft MVP for his contributions to Microsoft's online support, and Andy was among the first crop of .NET MVPs. Andy also speaks regularly at industry conferences, and he has written and presented highly successful courseware for AppDev, covering VB6, SQL Server, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ADO.NET. |

Jon is most at home spelunking, trying to figure out how things work from the inside out. Jon is the author of RESTful.NET from O’Reilly, as well as Essential ASP for Addison-Wesley, and was a co-author of Mastering Visual Studio.NET for O'Reilly. Jon’s current major interest is helping people to understand the advantages of REST, but he sees a bright future for modeling as a way to build complex systems. Ken, based in Singer Island, Florida, is a developer, writer, and trainer who divides his between developing applications; writing books, articles, and courseware; and training, both in training classes and at industry conferences. He has written several technical books for developers, including the best-selling Access Developer’s Handbook series (Sybex) and VBA Developer’s Handbook series (Sybex). Ken is co-author of ASP.NET Developer’s Jumpstart (Addison-Wesley), and is working on several upcoming books on .NET development. Along with co-authors Andy Baron and Mary Chipman, Ken co-authored AppDev’s C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and VB.NET courseware, and appears in the video training for these courses, as well. (He also co-wrote and appears in video training for AppDev’s VB6, VB5, Access 2000, and Access 97 courses.) Brian A. Randell is a senior consultant with MCW Technologies, LLC. Over the last 19 years, Brian has worked with companies and their developers to help the create solutions that leverage various Microsoft technologies. From RPG and COBOL and HP 3000 minis to Paradox for DOS to the world of Windows, Brian has worked on a variety of projects and systems to give him a broad perspective to help educate and empower developers. Today Brian splits up his time teaching Microsoft .NET -based technologies to developers, working with new and emerging technologies like Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio Team System, and consulting worldwide for clients such as Microsoft, American Honda, DELL, and others. Brian enjoys helping people get the most out of their software. In addition to consulting, he does this through speaking at events such as VSLive!, Tech*Ed, and the PDC or by sharing through the written word.
